I remember it like it was yesterday. I was taking my young daughter on her first backpacking trip. We had purchased a device designed to help her with going to the bathroom more easily in the mountains and practiced with it at home prior to the trip. Unfortunately things did not go as planned and after multiple frustrations with the device, followed by a few squatting debacles, the idea for the Carry Anywhere Commode was born.
The Commode allows kids and adults to sit down and go to the bathroom comfortably and conveniently when away from home. It also prioritizes easy cleanup and being environmentally friendly. The Carry Anywhere Commode is lightweight and compact enough to easily fit in daypacks, backpacks, purses, or glove compartments. It sets up and takes down in minutes and is tough and durable. Our years of using our Commode have been amazing. We've used it everywhere: climbing crags, backpacking, day hikes, fishing trips, canoeing, and camping. Our kids have used it next to the car parked on the side of the road when caught between rest stops. They’ve even used it discreetly behind the bushes at the local park during an emergency when the public restrooms were locked. *Note: We’re not recommending regular use in public, but it is better than poopy pants.
Our Goals:
1) Empower folks and families who are intimidated by the idea of going to the bathroom outside.
2) Assist in maintaining the health of our outdoor spaces with the increase in human recreational traffic.
3) Simply make your life a little easier.
Additionally, we started Carry Anywhere Commode with the personal goal to provide work opportunities for our four children. We operate the entire business ourselves. Our kids assemble, pack, pick, and ship every Commode we sell. We are excited that this provides them with opportunities to build a solid work ethic, gain experience with managing money and keeping a budget, and begin investing for their futures. We're simply a small, family operated, veteran owned business trying our best to get the word out about these amazing products that we personally use and believe in. Thanks for your time!
